Founder & CEO
Joanne Yoong is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of RFI. In this role, she is principally responsible for the conduct of RFI’s work in accordance with its organizational values, and for the short and long term corporate strategy. She provides leadership to the management team and oversight and support to the RFI team as a whole while representing the organization in dialogue with sponsors and collaborators.

Dr Suan Ee Ong
Suan took on the role of COO at Research For Impact to help guide her teammates to deliver high quality, data-driven health and social research. She oversees RFI’s suite of research and evaluation projects and provides guidance on research management, study design, protocol development and ethics, data collection, analysis, and reporting. She also works closely with the CEO and CFO on strategic matters, including business development, stakeholder engagement, and capacity-building.

Yik Lin Khoo
CFO & Co-COO
Yik Lin’s career has spanned the public sector to MNCs to SMEs to startups, covering a wide range of responsibilities, such as strategy, policy, finance, client management, programme design and project management. As a Vice-President at the Bank of New York Mellon, a Group CFO at Shooting Gallery Asia, the General Manager at FireForge Games (Singapore) and most recently as a Principal Senior Director at Temasek Foundation, he has built and managed many high-performance teams with a strong and positive organisation culture. He hopes to contribute similarly at RFI.

Dr Sherria Ayuandini
Director (Evaluation Strategy and Implementation)
In more than 17 years of Sherria’s career, she has worked with national governments and international organizations in Asia, Europe, Australia and Africa, both in advisory and leadership positions. In the past 5 years, Sherria assumed back-to-back roles as a global lead, providing strategic directions and operational guidance in Europe, Africa, South America and the Middle East. Her leadership style is constantly shaped by each multinational and interdisciplinary team that she led. She learned that a plan is only as good as the modifications it is willing to accommodate through listening to different voices and wisdom.

Dr Amanda Goh
Acting Director (Portfolio Management)
Given RFI's wide-range of projects and collaborations, Amanda supports the RFI team in ensuring alignment with the overall strategy, overseeing effective use of resources, and optimizing the impact achieved. For this role, she draws from her past experience in both the public and private sectors, in organisations such as Ogilvy, A*STAR and NUS, where her work has included strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and management, programme planning and execution, as well as project management.

A natural fit for his economist portfolio, Oliver oversees and monitors the company’s cash flow and financial transactions, as well as produces financial projections. He strives for good documentation and insightful analysis, as well as to provide accurate and updated information to facilitate rational decision-making.

Deputy Director (Academy)
In driving Research For Impact's capability-building efforts, Daniel works closely with both our trainers and client organizations in the impact sector. He ensures that our training programmes are tailored to meet real needs and that those whom we train - management, practitioners, and administrators alike - are properly equipped with relevant skills, knowledge, and resources to realise the impact that they hope to achieve. Prior to joining RFI, Daniel assumed various roles in the public healthcare sector involving programme design and implementation, operations, partnership-building, as well as multi-stakeholder engagement and management. In his current capacity, Daniel hopes to contribute to RFI's vision in building and strengthening the sector's capabilities.

Senior Finance Executive
Jamie is a Senior Finance Executive at RFI. With a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Accountancy and Finance Management from the University of Portsmouth, she brings 14 years of invaluable finance experience to her role. She upholds good governance and operational excellence through her responsible delivery of financial functions such as accounting, treasury and reporting, with strict adherence to statutory requirements and in line with RFI’s organisational policies and strategic vision.
