This workshop is for anyone who needs to measure and communicate the economic impact of programmes for better data-driven decision-making. Social and community programme officers, senior management, managers, researchers, funders, and policymakers are welcome!

  • Understand the fundamental principles underlying economic evaluation

  • Understand the different methods in economic evaluation, including Cost-Benefit Analysis, Cost-Effectiveness Analysis, and Social Return on Investment, as well as how to apply them to social and community programmes

  • Model best practices of measuring both monetary and nonmonetary costs and benefits

  • Understand the role, limitations, and practical considerations of these methods in the evaluation process

  • Understand how to use economic evaluation findings critically to inform better decision-making
